Teaching Material

Flexible and practical

Choice depends on the goal, the student and the teacher. We teach from various sources. We do not have a Holy Book. A coursebook may be useful unless it serves unflexible and mechanical teaching. However, there is not a perfect book. We cannot expect a book to be a guideline that is bound to take us to the right place. Accordingly, our teachers are expected to take a critical view of a coursebook and to accept only elements that truly serve their student’s interests. Useful and interesting, not only giving and illusion of progress.

It is not the book that counts but the system.

Our goal is to select teaching material that encourages our students to be active participants. Developing a mass of such material is a tremendous work and requires cooperation. This is what the ’HIVE’ is all about.
